We have been sharing information about our Open Events on our Welcome Page as well as on Facebook and Instagram, so please check at least once a month to see what’s new.
Here’s what’s happening in December 2025:
Early-bird discount deadline approaches for our Open Yule Ritual: Rune of Renewal and Enlightenment! Details below.
Reserve your spot BEFORE DECEMBER 17th for only $15 via PayPal or Venmo to TheCraftyPlum@gmail.com!
If you don’t pay in advance then a $20 donation at the door is required for entry to cover the cost of the room rental and materials, plus we’ll need to know early how many folks are coming so we have enough items for everybody.
Looking forward to celebrating Yule with you!
WHAT: Open Yule Ritual: Rune of Renewal and Enlightenment
WHEN: Saturday, December 20th from 3:00-6:00 PM
WHERE:Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave., NYC studio # 16 O
All Pagan and Pagan-friendly folks aged 18 and older are welcome to join us for a joyful magical Norse-style rite to brighten our lives with the power of the Returning Yuletide Sun. Many northern European cultures continue their ancestral practices of celebrating the Winter Solstice and the rising of the Sun after the longest night of the year, and SGC is happy to provide our NYC area community with this opportunity to gather and turn the Wheel of the Year together. After the ritual is complete, we will share a potluck meal in an informal communal feast until we need to return to the mundane world.
A $20 donation is required to cover the cost of the room rental and materials.
Reserve your spot before December 17th for only $15 via PayPal or Venmo to TheCraftyPlum@gmail.com, or email your name or mark yourself “Going” on our Facebook Event page and pay $15 cash at the event.
Payments will be collected at the door to gain entry if you haven’t paid in advance, and the door will be closed at 3:30 with no admittance thereafter so as not to interrupt The Work.
Please bring a potluck food item or non-alcoholic beverage to share (label your homemade food in case anyone has allergies) for our communal feast after the ritual. In an effort to reduce our use of plastic disposables, please bring a cup, dish, and utensils with you, if possible.
