Threshold of the Ancestors

Strangers’ Gate Coven invites you to Threshold of the Ancestors, our 2026 Open  Samhain Ritual on Friday, Oct. 30th from 5-8 PM at Studio 353 in Manhattan!

As the veil thins and the spiral calls, we gather to walk the labyrinth this Samhain Eve, to move through the mystery with intention and care, to gain wisdom from our Ancestors at the center of the labyrinth and to bring it forth as we journey back outwards.

All Pagan and Pagan-friendly folks aged 18 and older are welcome to join us for Threshold of the Ancestors: SGC’s Open Samhain Ritual, a solemn magical Celtic rite to receive messages from our Ancestors beyond the veil. Samhain is the Celtic New Year, a time when Wiccans/Pagans connect with those who have passed on, and perhaps get advice for the future.

Please note: No shoes on the canvas labyrinth, unless needed for medical support (booties can be provided).

After the ritual is complete, we will share a potluck meal in an informal communal feast until we need to return to the mundane world.

A $20 donation is required to cover the cost of the room rental and materials.

Reserve your spot before October 23rd for only $15 via PayPal or Venmo to TheCraftyPlum@gmail.com, or email your name or mark yourself “Going” on our Facebook Event page and pay $15 cash at the event. Payments will be collected at the door to gain entry, and the door will be closed at 5:30 with no admittance thereafter so as not to interrupt The Work.

Please bring a potluck food item or non-alcoholic beverage to share (label your homemade food in case anyone has allergies) for our communal feast after the ritual. In an effort to reduce our use of plastic disposables, please bring a cup, dish, and utensils with you, if possible.

We look forward to seeing you for our Samhain celebration. Blessed Be!
